Privacy Policy of the Equia application
Version 2.0 · effective from 26 July 2026
1. Controller
The controller is TechGoZone, Company ID 54000157, email info@techgozone.com.
2. Data we process
We may process identity and contact data, account and sign-in data, profile information, listing and auction content, photos and videos, chat messages, favourites, saved filters, notifications, consent and order records, payment status, device data, identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, security data and approximate location. Card details are processed by the payment provider and are not normally stored by Equia.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to register and manage accounts, publish and manage offers, operate auctions, chat, search, favourites and alerts, provide and bill plans, support users, secure the service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal duties. The legal bases are performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure operation and protection of rights, and consent where required.
4. Public data and communications
Information placed in a public listing, including contact details, may be seen by other users. Include only what is needed for a sale. Messages are available to chat participants and may be processed where necessary to provide the service, handle reports and protect users.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed as necessary by providers of hosting, databases, cloud services, authentication, storage, notifications, analytics, support and payments, or disclosed to competent authorities where required by law. Transfers outside the EEA use a mechanism permitted by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We retain data only while the account and service are active, for statutory periods and afterwards as necessary for legal claims, security and dispute resolution. Public offers are hidden after expiry and deleted under the service rules; some accounting, payment and security records must be retained longer.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to a supervisory authority, in particular the Slovak Data Protection Authority or the authority where you live.
8. Security and children
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. The service is not intended for children who cannot independently provide a required consent or enter into a contract under applicable law.
9. Contact and changes
Send requests and questions to info@techgozone.com. We may reasonably verify the requester’s identity. Updates will be published in the app with a new version and effective date.
