The AS8800C is a portable combustible gas leak detector designed to help you quickly locate leaks from flammable gases such as natural gas (methane) and other combustible mixtures. It uses a semiconductor sensor with fast warm-up and an instant response, and the long flexible stainless-steel probe makes it easy to reach tight areas around pipes, valves, boilers, stoves and gas connections. A loud audible alarm plus visible light indication helps you spot leaks quickly, and adjustable sensitivity allows more precise pinpointing when you are close to the source.
The meter shows readings on a large LCD and provides low-battery indication, making it practical for home safety checks, maintenance work and service inspections. The device is powered by three AA batteries and is shipped without batteries.
