Enter motor speed and the required driven-shaft speed. Find geometric tooth-count combinations for a two-pulley drive.
| Teeth z₁ / z₂ | Output rpm | Deviation |
|---|
The same ratio can have several pulley pairs. Suggestions do not confirm product availability or mechanical suitability. Match the exact tooth profile on both pulleys and the belt: equal pitch alone is not enough. Check bore, belt width, tooth engagement, load and speed limits, centre distance and tensioning.
n₂ = n₁ × z₁ / z₂ · i = n₁ / n₂ = z₂ / z₁ · dₚ = z × p / π
Pitch diameter dₚ is not the outside diameter. The closest speed matches are shown first. Different-sized pulley pairs can produce the same speed ratio; compare their diameters with the space available. This calculator evaluates rotational speed, not linear travel speed or drive power.
