How it works

Place the battery into the correct testing position and the device starts measuring automatically. The battery level appears on the LCD screen. If the reading shows empty, first make sure the battery is properly touching both contacts before deciding the battery is completely dead. Because the tester uses the tested battery as its power source, it is best to keep test time as short as possible to avoid unnecessary battery depletion.
